| Great Lakes Chapter The Great Lakes Chapter is located in the North Central Region of the United States. Our members are from all five services and are full and part time travelers with varying styles and types of RV's. Our members hail from the states surrounding the Great Lakes along with members from Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, and New York. We have three to four Musters each year usually in and around the Great Lakes states. We have three Musters planned for 2011. They will be held in Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana this year. Our Musters are usually held during the months of June, July, and August. We have a Christmas luncheon just before some of our members go south for the winter. Our newsletter can be found on the National SMART website under the North Central Region/Great Lakes. The Great Lakes chapter was formed on 31 July 1998 with 13 charter members. The Chapter currently has 45 members. To become a member, one must first meet the requirements of SMART National. Our Chapter dues are $5.00 per year and are due each January. First year Chapter dues are paid for by the Chapter. |
| Northern Illinois Chapter The Northern Illinois chapter is located in the North Central Region of SMART. Our members are from Illinois and the states that border it. We have members from all branches of the Armed Forces and they still try to outdo each other ( in fun ). If you call this area home all year or just in the summer months, we'd love to have you as a member. We are small in numbers but big on fun. Most of our members go south for the winter and are members of SMART groups there also. We try to meet two times a year, an early spring Muster and a meeting at the National Muster.
